Nicole Merritt

Nicole Merritt has close to a decade of experience in the prehospital and paramedicine setting. A recent Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate from the Faculty of Nursing at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Nicole has been a part of various research teams and projects – varying from the Design and Testing of an Augmented Reality-Assisted Vein Detection Device: A Low-Cost Solution for Difficult Intravenous Access in Healthcare Settings to the EpiDOSE trial. She has also presented in multiple University conferences and has publications in Undergraduate Student Research Journals. Nicole is a current practicing paramedic for British Columbia Emergency Health Services and a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Kelowna General Hospital.
