Kaylie Kuehl

Kaylie has worked with the County of Renfrew Paramedic Service since 2019 in various capacities with the service while completing her Bachelor of Science degree followed by a Master of Science in Aging and Health at Queen’s University before moving into the role as Community Paramedic Program Coordinator. She is passionate about supporting aging in place in her local community using interprofessional collaboration to help identify, develop, and enhance innovative, timely, and person-centered, equitable care solutions that enhance quality of life.

Through both her professional work and academic endeavors, Kaylie is committed to addressing healthcare disparities and access barriers particularly in rural communities, to promote and advance equitable healthcare. Prior to her current role, she held positions with the Canadian Centre for Diversity Equity and Inclusion (CCDI), and the Renfrew County Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre (RC VTAC).

In her current role with the County of Renfrew Paramedic Service Community Paramedic Program Kaylie leads quarterly program planning, directs quality assurance and improvement initiatives, facilitates staff and community engagement, and oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures. In her work Kaylie collaborates with community paramedics and community partners to coordinate integrated, evidence-based initiatives and practice that ensure delivery of reliable, quality care and services, while fostering community wellbeing and safety.
