Jennifer Greene


Jen Greene has worked in EMS research since 2011 and in paramedicine since 2007. She serves as the Dalhousie University Division of EMS Knowledge Translation Specialist, where it is her mission to get the evidence straight and get the evidence used.

To enrich her ability to contribute to this mission, she is completing a Master's degree in Community Health and Epidemiology. Jen takes her knowledge of the current science to the field as an ACP, Operations Lead and Field Training Paramedic. Jen translates the research directly into practice as an evidence consultant for the EHS Clinical Practice Guidelines and as the program coordinator for the Prehospital Evidence Based Practice Program (PEP). This program is a free online repository of appraise EMS literature. Jen and the PEP team are dedicated to fostering an evidence-based practice culture and instruct courses on EBM in paramedicine.

Jen has invested advancing the paramedic profession and was one of the core group members who established the Nova Scotia Paramedic Professional Association. Through her dedication to professionalism, she was awarded the 2024 PAC Excellence in Leadership and Advocacy Award.
