Emma Brouwer Emma Brouwer is a recent Bachelor of Arts and Science graduate from Trent University with a focus on biology and linguistics. Emma is currently pursuing her MSc in Environmental and Life Sciences at Trent University, where her research focuses on genes, cells, and physiological systems. During her undergraduate degree, Emma was introduced to the world of paramedic research, and she worked with the Trent Community Research Centre and the Dalhousie Department of Emergency Health Services to analyse the role of paramedicine in sepsis care. When not working on paramedic research, Emma studies the fat tissue of mice. Emma is passionate about effective research communication and hopes to make her work as accessible and easy-to-understand as possible. |
