Dr. Tyson G. Taylor

Tyson is a Principal Research Scientist with Stryker Emergency Care who joined in 2014. He has a Ph.D in biomedical engineering specializing in biophysics and electrophysiology. His current research focuses on ECG algorithms, electrical therapy, and mechanical CPR. Tyson grew up between the U.S. and Japan. He is a true bilingual who speaks both Japanese and English fluently. Outside of research, you’ll find Tyson spending time outdoors, gardening, gaming with his two boys, or trying his hand at learning new skills like blacksmithing.
