Dr. Daniel Lane

Daniel is a Medical Doctor completing his Emergency Medicine training at the University of British Columbia. He previously completed a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology focussing on prehospital identification and management of sepsis. He worked three years with Alberta EMS developing and implementing Critical Care medical protocols, and two years supporting the clinical trials for the Department of Critical Care in Calgary. As a Dragon, Dan will focus on the data – where will it come from, how will it be analyzed, and ultimately how does this affect the patients we serve. He will be eager to hear how the researchers intend to bring high quality methods to answer a meaningful research question.
