Dr. Andrea Alter

Andrea Alter is a primary care Paramedic at Urgences-santé since 2017. Prior to obtaining her DEC in Pre-hospital Emergency Care (John Abbott College, 2017), she completed her PhD in Experimental Medicine at McGill University (2010). Her research was focused on genetic susceptibility to infectious diseases. She is the first author of several peer-reviewed articles. Andrea Alter also holds a BSc in Microbiology & Immunology (McGill, 2002).
