Dr. Alix Carter

Dr Alix Carter is the Research Director at London Health Science Centre/Western University Emergency Medicine and the Southwestern Ontario Regional Base Hospital Program.  She has recently relocated to southern Ontario to raise her two beautiful daughters closer to family, after 15 wonderful years in Nova Scotia as Medical Director of Research for EHS Nova Scotia and Director, Dalhousie Department of Emergency Medicine, Division of EMS.  Her research interests lie in health system integration, and the "right provider, right place, right time".  She is the lead investigator for the Paramedics Providing Palliative Care program.
