David Wolfe

Dr. David Wolff is a Senior Fellow with the McNally Project for Paramedicine Research and the Provincial Chair of the Ontario Paramedic Association Wellness Committee. A veteran paramedic leader with nearly four decades of experience, David’s career has followed a unique trajectory from the front lines and private entrepreneurship through paramedic education and into executive leadership as a Deputy Chief and Certified Municipal Manager.

David holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Community Care and Counseling: Traumatology from Liberty University. As an educator and consultant, he is a member of the CIPSRT ARC Network and specializes in psychological health and safety, first responder mental well-being, and the development of resilient educational frameworks for the public safety sector. His work is focused on bridging the gap between high-level paramedic service management and the specialized psychological needs of the modern workforce.

In addition to his doctorate, David holds a Master of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Practice from Charles Sturt University. He is a leading voice in advocating for academic rigor, evidence-based wellness strategies, and the scholarly advancement of the paramedic profession across Canada.
